A Knight Shift takes you into the heart of a conspiracy where a few deaths are mere appetizers for the mayhem lurking just over the event horizon.

Workers have been killed.

Their welts, cuts, and abrasions appeared to be inflicted by fighting sticks. Witnesses testified to seeing men in brown robes running from the sites of the murders.

Blame fell on the Druids.

When thugs sought revenge on a Clan family, the Druids of Construction Station closed the inner air vents. Deprived of the White Heart Plant’s fresh air to soften the artificial atmosphere, workers doubled down on their anger toward the Druids. And the Druids returned the hostility.

The Station teetered on the brink of an all-out revolution.

Given the assignment, Phelan Oscar Piran arrived with the job of uncovering the cause of the domestic conflict. During the investigation, Lieutenant Piran uncovered a more sinister reason for the troubles.

Now, his was hunted by enemies coming from the shadows, on every deck, and from every trade. Only his Marine Corps training and the gifts of a Knight Protector of The Clan could save the space pilot. If he can avoid death on an abandoned deck with low light and bad air, he will discover a sinister scheme.
