Everything vanished into the void.

Yet, his reports on ships with odd designs, undercover activities by insurgents, and the increasing boldness of raiders, failed to stir the bureaucrats. J-Pop understood his next encounter with pirates or fanatics could end his life and his quest. But the stakes were so high, the Knight Protector had no choice. Survive the journey, and Phelan Oscar Piran would discover the key to the diary in the Hall of Heroes.

Or, he would be consumed by what was coming through the Void.
